Oggetto: Re: [libreoffice-website] mailing list page

Hello Cico,

Are your referring to that one?
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/

The design of the website essentially intended to get rid of the rather
infinite list of mailing lists and you will see that for each pages
describing a team, there is there is a pointer to the corresponding
mailing list.

Best,

Charles.

Hello, thank you for your reply.
Actually the page I meant is this one:

http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists

There's no link in the top menu for this page, but it's fully accessible; if you see in
silverstripe, the page is under the "get help" menu.

So it has to stay hidden?

Yes. As you can see, the list is really full of other mailing lists that
are not related to any kind of support options. However, all these are
usually listed for each team/activity. For instance, localization
(l10n@) should not be listed in the get help section, but is already
accessible through the localization page here:
http://www.libreoffice.org/community/localization/ which is readily
accessible under the community menu.

Anyway, I can see also the spanish and french sites have this page for instance:

http://es.libreoffice.org/recibe-ayuda/listas-de-correo/

http://fr.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/

On the italian website new interface (still to be activated) I was about to use (and publish)
this mailing list page; this is because we already have this page active in the old interface:

https://it.libreoffice.org/supporto/mailing-lists/

each native-lang project is autonomous and sees what's the best
customization available for its own language so it is all right.

And actually the "projects" list was not included in this page, but I thought it was to be
included.

So... to me... I would use this page on the italian site, but if there's accordance for keeping
it hidden just let me know and I won't publish it.
Thank you! cico :)

well, the projects@ list is not really something we need to "shout" on
every rooftops so I'm not too comfortable with that :-)

Thanks,

Charles.
