Oh, please keep the current website layout in mind - the first banner
on the page surely is too large. (600x60 should be max. dimensions,
just like current banner - it could be a little higher, but not
wider).
If you create a larger banner, then you must also state where to put
it on the site :-)
I'm CC'ing the website-ml for remembering the thread, but I think the
discussion should be on the design-ml.
Sure - the old banner was online long enough, initially it wasn't
planned to use that banner for all the time anyway...
