Hello from Tom Mauser - requesting access to ALFRESCO web site

Hello,

I have just joined the LibreOffice documentation community and I have posted a topic in the LibreOffice Documentation discussion area introducing myself.

I am also interested in obtaining access (user id and password) to the LibreOffice ALFRESCO web site in order that I can begin to provide help with the on-going LibreOffice documentation efforts.

Appreciate hearing from you at your earliest conveience.

Best regards,
Tom Mauser

Welcome, Thomas.

Others will be around soon to get you started, but as one of the moderators, I have to challenge your statement that you 'have just joined the LibreOffice documentation community'.

Your first two posts were both moderated (by me) which means that, if you have tried to subscribe to the list, something has gone wrong. Send an empty email to documentation+help@global.libreoffice.org and see the different ways you can subscribe and thus avoid having your emails held up waiting for a moderator to approve them.

Sincerely,

//James Wilde

Hello!

I'm Sylvia Sánchez, I'm translating "Styles and Formatting" to Spanish
and I can't access to my Alfresco account.
Could somebody help me?

Thanks!
Sylvia

Hello James,

Thanks for your reply - yes, I did have some difficulty in trying to
subscribe to the list.

I will follow up on your recommendation to send an empty email to the
address you've noted.

Regards,

Tom Mauser

Have you successfully logged in to your Alfresco account before now?

Your username on Alfresco is SylviaSánchez, with an accent on the
second a. Perhaps that is the problem?

I can reset your password, or change your username, if necessary.

Login info has been sent to you privately. Please acknowledge here on
the list if you are successful with loggin in. That will also test
whether you have been successful at subscribing to this list.

Jean:

I logged in successfully before. I did some things around and then,
because of my classes I had to dedicate my time to other things. Now I
want to login to upload the translated file and I can't.
Reseting my password maybe works.

Thanks!
Sylvia

Hi
I don't think that you can reset your own password. I had some trouble trying that myself so a few of us try to set passwords that are non-trivial to start with.
Regards from
Tom

I have reset your password and sent the details to you privately.
