Please ignore my last email. I have just found the solution.
Right click on on the displayed page style at bottom of the Writer window and select from the context menu.
I have not had my 2nd cup of coffee yet.

Hi Peter
You can also insert a new page with a different page style by choosing Insert > More breaks > Manual Break.
Then, in the Insert Break window, choose Page break (default). And select the wanted page style in the pull down. Pres OK and you insert the page break.

I am reasonably expert (!!!!) ar Writer, but there are still methods I have not yet come across. Your suggestion I did not think about, so I will now try it.
