Nou, Rome..., laten we 1960 toen ik telexen al kende...

Zeg dat maar niet hardop. Het is dezelfde code die men vroeger de telex
machine stuurde wanneer de printkop op een nieuwe regel moest beginnen te
printen.

\n Newline of line feed (nieuwe regel)
\r Carriage return (wagen terugloop)
\t Tabstop
\a Bell (belletje laten rinkelen)
\f Form feed (volgend vel papier)

In programmeertalen worden deze regex nog volop gebruikt.

Het is al bijna zo oud als de weg naar Rome... :-)
