[libreoffice-accessibility] Using LibreOffice 4.2.5 with Screen Readers

Hello.  It's been a while since I've posted anything to this list and I've been a bit out of touch 
as to the accessibility work in LibreOffice.
When I saw that LO 4.2.5 was available, I downloaded and installed it on one of the Windows 7, 
32-bit machines in our classroom.  I do not have Java and, consequently, the Java Access Bridge 
installed on this machine but I wanted to use it with the experimental features enabled, which I 
hoped would enable the Iaccessible2 support.  During the installation process, I checked the 
"support assistive technology" checkbox but I am receiving little if any speech from NVDA 2014.2.  
Could somebody verify this on another system?
Interestingly, JAWS 15 does provide speech feedback while navigating through text documents and 
menus but not in dialogs.
NVDA will not read anything while I try and navigate through menus and dialogs.
Using JAWS, I was able to go into options/advanced and click on the Experimental Features option 
just in case it was actually off but restarting LO did not produce different results.
