Hi.
Are these PCs by any chance wireless or have power saving activated.
I think I saw this once on my mac when it went to sleep, powered the wireless down and when it woke up the printers were gone in LO.
Can't be sure as it was a while ago.

   Hi. If your at the stage of adding/removing LO. What if you try the
   opensuse install.
   I just recently updated my 12.1s to 12.2 for a more recent LO from suse.
   The upgrade option from the DVD worked well (with some bewares).
