Actually, I do not know if there is a not for profit in France, while I know there is one in Switzerland. In many countries there is a group of volunteers organized informally. UK is like US: OOo is nothing there.

In the Americas, it looks like Brazil is (as we know) quite successfully
organized. I don't believe that we have heard of any other in the
S.American market. As for the N./Central Americas, there is really
nothing as yet.

Countries speaking English and Spanish are those where OOo is weaker, because the language based organization of the OOo community has not been effective at all.
