I am downloading the 3.5.4 iso file, and want to have and idea about what
kind of lies are inside the iso file and what it is going to be necesary
for the spanish DVD

Here is the label I use for the 3.5.5 DVD and a link to the background
image. It is square, but label making software should mask out the
unneeded areas. You can take the background and add your own text. I use
an Epson Artisan printer to print the labels onto inkjet printable DVD
media. Better than paper labels or marker-pen.

As soon as the 3.5.5 DVD is listed at
http://www.libreoffice.org/**download/?type=box&version=3.**5.5<http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=3.5.5>
download the .iso file [ 4 GB in size ] and then look at all the files and
such there. It can help with the creation of your DVD. It does have a lot
of the files already downloaded and stored in their respected folders.
Then you can take the work done here and see what you can do to make it do
what you want your DVD to be like.

I started with the design and theme of the first German DVD, then changed
to a different theme later on. I have had over a year to work on this DVD
and plan on doing a new theme/design in the near future.

The "Extras" part of the DVD is other free software. I have about 2.1 GB
of install files for LO - Windows, Mac, and Linux. The rest of the 4 GB
DVD are the documents, extensions, dictionaries, artwork, and extras.

I like DVD that are stuffed full of usable files for my user base or those
who might give them to other users.

Thank for your message.

It could be great to have a DVD with a lot of coll thinks about LibO.

It can something like the installer for windows, linux (deb y rpm) and
also
MAC, a instalation guide, some tutorial, tips and trick.

I can make a cover for the DVD and make copies for the FOSS events in my
country.

This is a great idea, thanks

I saw your thread on the LO Marketing List

I was wondering if you ever used the Spanish-Nicaragua spell checking
dictionary?

I found many localized Spanish spell checking dictionaries and have made
sure that that are part of the LibreOffice North American Community DVD
Project's DVD.

The 3.5.5 version should be listed in the CD/DVD download pages soon.

This DVD project is over a year old and has become the starting point for
several local/regional LO distribution projects. Versions of it has been
give out at different tech events and shows.

There is an online version of our DVD, which is the same as the physical
DVD, and used for testing and browsing/using to help decide if you want
to
download the 4 GB .iso file.

I think, if you want to promote LibreOffice in your community, you might
want to create a DVD with LibreOffice installs and extras that might be
useful to a LibreOffice user. Adding FOSS or other free software to a
DVD
can be useful.

Although the NA-DVD is written in English, and so are the documentation
files, you may find a way to make a DVD in Spanish - and any other
languages in your region - so that the receivers of a DVD would be able
to
browse the contents of the disc and see all the wonders of LibreOffice
and
FOSS software.
