[libreoffice-users] Writer printer selection

Hello over there,

I have a problem with this scenario:

PC1: OOwriter 3.0.0.
PC2: LOwriter3.4
PC1+2 on LAN: standard printer Brother, DIN A4,...

At PC1 I write a file.odt using OOwriter 3.0.0, printer configuration
says Brother1, DIN A4, and save and print it.

At PC2 another user in the LAN using LOwriter 3.4 opens this file.odt and make 
text corrections. Printer configuration still "DIN A4".

At PC1 I reopen the file with OO and find printer configured "JIS B5". 
Printing would now result in a disaster (B5 tray will be selected).

The same file reopened at PC2 shows "DIN A4" and prints well.

Apparently OO and LO interpret printer information differently. No matter 
which is "right", an open format should be interpretable in a definite way.

(BTW: I cannot and will not change to LO at all stations at the moment, 
especially if there are inconsistencies (old files not correctly readable)
