Re: [libreoffice-design] Vegur font

Hi Hillar,

what a nice surprise :-) The font had been considered earlier - for the
use within OpenOffice.org, to accompany their new logo. Since the
Marketing team spend some time in analyzing them, we based on their
effort.

What I currently know is, that a private person made this font - but
doesn't consider to continue to work on that. Thus, we mainly use the
font, because it is available in the web, and since the basic glyphs
matched very well to LibreOffice and the initial branding - that might
change in a few months.

I'd like to let Bernhard answer further questions (or maybe clarifying
my comments) - he should soon be back from his conference.
