Sorry for long delay on response. my email gets inundated with TDF and LO mails to the list. Ill try and do some digging around and let everyone know what i find. atm i have 2 deadlines this week. so maybe over the weekend ill get a chance to do research on this.

technologies" as far as the Mac Version of OOo is concerned - it's
a *.dmg file containing an *.app folder, which his a common way of
installing programs on a Mac.

NeoOffice is listed since years in the download area of apple.com so
this can not be that problematic.
