[tdf-discuss] [DOC] User docs: planning ahead

I want to start developing a "wish list" for documentation for ordinary
users (things like user guides, howtos, FAQs, tutorials, training
materials, and others). We won't have enough people to do everything on
the list, but it might encourage new people to contribute in areas that
most interest them.

Some issues to consider are: 
* What audiences do we want to reach? What are their needs? Lots of
overlap with training here.
* What type and format of materials are most suitable for each of those
audiences? Books (PDF, ODT), wiki, videos, other?
* How much can we adapt from existing materials such as the OOo user
guides? (so we can move on to developing new materials to fill in the
gaps)
* What do the available contributors want to work on? There's no use in
saying "our first priority is X" if no one is willing, available and
knowledgable enough to actually do the work.

When we have a wiki, I'll be happy to start a page where we can collect
ideas and get feedback. And I'll try to do a better job than the rather
scattered collection of pages at OOo. Meanwhile, here are two pages I
started for tutorials on OOo:
