Does Novell have a lot to do with OpenSuse or is OpenSuse run
independently from Novell?

Hi Marc,

hmmm- I do not think so.

SUSE used to be an independent company,
SUSE now is a business unit of Novell, which in turn is now owned by
AttacheMate.

OpenSuse is the community project of Suse. It is similar to (or the same
as) the relationship between RedHat and Fedora.

Thanks for the info.
