Once it is more mature, I think it will be an excellent option, especially when it *replaces* the top menu bars - this will be a much better layout for anyone using widescreen monitors.

I'm now wondering if this will always be optional? In my opinion, this should be similar to other programs, like, for example, Tree Style Tab extension for Firefox, that lets you put tabs on the side - meaning, it is either/or, not in addition to...
