Thank you, Ken!!  Wildly helpful--I now feel much better having discovered that I'm not seeing it 
because it's not here, not because I'm blind.  :)  I actually do not have a silver drive icon on my 
desktop.  There was nothing on my desktop when I set it up.  Now what?  Where else can I find it?
